Red George is a writing and editing business that was formed in response to the way communications are changing. Typefaces both contemporary, and from a time past, complement Red George’s conviction that words still matter. The list of possible applications for professional writing is endless, and specifying any of them on a business card seemed to pigeon-hole the business. To combat this, a more abstract approach was needed. Aiming to instill the importance of words to potential clients, a series of tongue-in-cheek taglines were developed. The cards were printed in one colour on a textured stock using letterpress printing. I (with programming from Ben Jennings) also developed a simple website reflecting the straight forward, direct nature of the identity.
